People frequently suggest I burn a PS2, Nintendo DS, or Xbox. I don't have the money to burn that stuff, but I can afford to burn the box in which my Xbox was packaged: an "Xbox-box." The Xbox-box was larger than the death ray target spot, so I decided that the central, encircled X was an appropriate place to aim. As you can see, the Solar Death Ray hit the bull's-eye! A hole dramatically burned through the front of the box and expanded outward; it was like an improved version of the Bonanza opening! Once the hole in the front of the box was large enough, the death ray started burning a hole through the back. It took less than two minutes for the Solar Death Ray to burn straight through the Xbox-box. After that the box lost integrity, fell to the pavement, and burned for a while. Only two substantial remnants remained. These pieces were all that was left of the former box, now an "ex-Xbox-box." These remnants were placed in a brown cardboard box: the "ex-Xbox-box-box" |

In order to destroy the ex-Xbox-box-box, I decided to mix things up a little and asked Andy to hit it with his car. The photo on the left doesn't convey the spectacular impact of Andy's car; he must have been going tens of miles per hour! Andy hit the box several times and then spun his tires out on the ex-Xbox-box-box. Check out the cardboard skid mark! The ex-Xbox-box-box was ruined: it was now an ex-ex-Xbox-box-box. |
