The sound card made some impressive noises while it cooked. Some notable bangs rang out, which I figure were capacitors exploding. One of the 8 pin chips was completely de-soldered, and the center of the card looks like it has been carpet bombed by a squadron of tiny planes. Damage propagated through the card. Punching a hole in the card was probably possible, however the stink forced us to shut down after about five minutes. |
