Log vs. Fruit The Revenging						Gravity Death Log
					Seeking vengeance against fruit for besting the Solar Death Ray, the Gravity Death Log challenged a banana and apple to a two-on-one battle royal henceforth referred to as “The Revenging.” The apple was cocky and arrogant, while the banana played it cool as ice. But the death log would not be intimidated.
		The death log was hoisted above its plate of nemeses in preparation for its signature move: “Total Crushination.” The fruit remained arrogant, like Ivan Drago from Rocky IV. Actually, the banana was like Drago, and the apple was more like Clubber Lang. The point is that both pieces of fruit were jerks, and it was up to the Gravity Death Log to set things right.

		As you can see from the labeled image above, the death log succeeded in utterly pulverizing the fruit. Apple shrapnel (or “Shrapple”) was tossed over 15 feet (~5 meters). The banana skin was smashed off and tossed a few feet away. Could the Gravity Death Log be used as a high-speed shucking device? Sadly we may never know, as the death log took this triumphant moment to announce that it was retiring from the world of competitive smashing. It retired undefeated and as an icon of the sport, truly a bittersweet moment for all of its fans.
