| The Solar Death Ray isn’t very useful during the overcast weather characteristic of Seattle this time of year. Because of this, we have developed a new way of destroying things: the Gravity Death Log! The Gravity Death Log consists of a roughly 15 pound l(7 kg) log suspended about 50 feet (15 meters) above the target. The most complicated part of the Gravity Death Log is the pulley, making it much less sophisticate than the Solar Death Ray. Despite its simplicity, the death log is just as effective as the death ray (if not more so). |

| Andy’s boss gave him a broken fax machine to death ray several months ago. The fax machine was a bit to big for the Solar Death Ray, but it was the perfect way to test the Gravity Death Log. This experiment was a mix of two great movies: Predator and Office Space. Ron Howard is directing the feature film, called Office Predator. |

As Andy held the log above the fax machine, I gloated over the doomed device. During my monologue I described the intricate details for my plans for world domination. Just as the fax machine was about to escape and heroically thwart my schemes, Andy let go of the rope and crushed it. If all of technology was represented by the fax machine, and all of nature was represented by the log, then technology got smashed big time. |

| Now that we have demonstrated the ability to crush stuff with moderate velocity wood, one must ask: will the Gravity Death Log return to destroy more junk? Only time will tell…. Oh yeah, don’t try this stuff at home. |
